I've been collecting old buttons for a long time, and was pleased to discover how well 3 went together: a large pearlized white button, a smaller shiny blue, as well as a green shell button to top it off. The pendant is a recycled piece of cuteness, nearly 1.5 by 1.5 inches, hanging from a silver plated bail.
The rest of the necklace is composed of two deep blue sodalite round, 6 phrenite nuggets, silver and white seed beads, as well as 2 little ceramic, hand painted beads, which have a lovely oriental flower pattern. I've used a doubled, regular link chain, as well as two silver ovals to space between the beads, and finished the piece off with a toggle clasp.
The piece is a total length of 16", plus the pendant. A perfect transition into spring!
